Two Lies I Believed About Photography

 

 

Lie no. 1- Always shoot into the shade.

 

Lie no. 2- Flowers must always be shot in colour.

 

 

 

I can't actually remember when I realised this wasn't true, but I took these photos on Monday in the direct sun. I like them in B&W, you may not, but they are definitely better than their colour counterparts.

 

For some reason this picture looks kind of washed out on my black background. I don't know why, because it looks fine on the white drafts page.
